Sustainability
Decarbonising through smarter energy
Our solutions support the transition to low-carbon buildings by helping households and businesses use energy more intelligently. Through energy management, storage and renewable integration, they make consumption more transparent and enable more climate-conscious decisions.
By improving how energy is produced, stored and used, we contribute to reducing emissions across the building lifecycle — and help our customers move towards a more sustainable future.
Annual and Sustainability Report 2024/25
70 years of expertise in the electrification of buildings
For seven decades, Hager has been shaping the future of electrification. What began in 1955 as a family vision has grown into global expertise – creating safer, smarter, and more sustainable solutions for homes, businesses, and communities.
This year’s integrated Report demonstrates how we transform expertise into measurable action: cutting emissions, advancing circularity, and driving responsibility across our entire value chain. With the recognition of an EcoVadis Platinum rating, we continue to build on our legacy while staying firmly committed to shaping a climate-resilient, sustainable future.

Hager Group achieves EcoVadis Platinum rating

Built to last
Our approach to sustainability begins with who we are. What we stand for, our values and our vision for the future. Hager Group is an independent family company, owned and run by family members. Because of this we can think and plan long-term. We’re not about slogans and quick returns. We are about courageous, consequential decision-making which reflects the core values that underpin our strategy: authenticity, courage and integrity.
For us, sustainability encompasses Ethics, Employees and the Environment. This embraces an ethical approach to business, an inclusive and healthy work environment and reliable products and ingenious solutions which are future-proof. With a strong focus on the environment, we’re on the way to making our company a low-carbon operation. This includes for example cutting down on our CO2-emissions, optimising our logistics and reducing our packaging. It is a gigantic task involving a huge turnaround yet we’re moving forward fast. A truly sustainable operation includes everything, from sourcing to production from usage to end of life; we want to take our employees, partners and customers with us on this journey.
Let’s make better choices together. For our planet and for all generations.

Less CO2 emissions thanks to our products
Hager Group products help to reduce the CO2 footprint thanks to alternative energy solutions or intelligent energy management systems. In this way, they enable a more sustainable approach to our world.
We want to help private households and businesses reduce their energy consumption and use alternative energy sources. That is how we can all make a difference together.
