Hager Group reaffirms its industrial base in Haguenau (France)

Hager Group inaugurated its new €15 million capacity investment on 24 October 2023. The Group has invested in the transformation of its Bischwiller industrial site with the purchase of new injection moulding machines and has recruited around 50 new employees. 

To support its growth ambitions in Europe and meet ever-increasing demand from its customers, Hager Group is developing the activity of its Bischwiller industrial site. 

Following the transfer of logistics to the group's new platform in Vendenheim in 2021, 5,000m² of floor space has been allocated to increasing production capacity. 

30 plastic injection moulding machines have been purchased, with a further 15 transferred to join the 45 currently operating at the site. The new presses will be used to produce all the plastic parts used in the electromechanical products portfolio.

"For over 60 years, we have been developing and investing in Alsace. Our Bischwiller site is part of this overall development strategy. We have invested €15 million to renovate an old logistics building, purchase new presses and recruit 50 new employees to serve our future and our customers", explains Jean-Christophe Cognacq, Director of the Bischwiller site. 
 
This investment is supported by the recruitment of 50 new production and support staff.
The Bischwiller plant has been manufacturing electrical protection products such as circuit breakers and contactors since 1997.
