Ethics

At Hager Group, we put a strong emphasis on a responsible approach towards business.

This approach considers our own employees as well as every person  involved in our value chain: from suppliers and their employees, to partners and customers.

“A sustainable business can only be established and maintained with mutual trust between our customers, partners, suppliers and ourselves. We achieve that by being authentic and putting our ambitions into action.”

Denis Munch

Corporate Social Responsibility Director

As a family-owned company, our business rests on the ethical values by which we live. Integrity is not just a word, it is deeply ingrained in our mindset and behaviour.

As we produce electrical equipment and solutions, consumer safety is one of our main concerns, as well as business and data integrity. We are committed to complying with all national and international industry standards and in many instances go above and beyond what is required. Taking responsibility includes more than that, we see it as our obligation to ensure fair and safe conditions in our value chain. That is why, since 2007, we are signatories of the United Nations’ Global Compact.

We also offer an internal training programme “Ethics in Business”. We are constantly working on it to reflect upon the latest developments in public thinking and our own aspirations. Or take, for example, Let’s Talk, our integrity alert system for employees, customers and partners, it is designed to ensure everyone feels safe to speak up and are being heard.

Declaration of principles of human rights

We are committed to being a company that lives ethical, social, and ecological responsibility internally and in our dealings with our business partners and stakeholders. Therefore, respect for human rights is a fundamental part of Hager Group’s corporate responsibility. Find our policy statement on respect for human rights here.
