Hager achieves CDP “A-” (Leadership) score for Climate Change
Advancing from “B” (Management) to “A-” (Leadership), Hager has achieved one of the highest CDP Climate Change ratings, marking its second consecutive year of improvement.
Hager has achieved a CDP “A-“ (Leadership) score in the 2025 CDP Climate Change assessment, moving up from “B” (Management) and marking its second consecutive year of improvement. The “A-” score represents one of the highest possible CDP levels and recognises companies that demonstrate best practice in climate governance, transparency and measurable action.
CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project) evaluates companies on how effectively they disclose environmental data, manage climate-related risks and opportunities, and translate commitments into performance. An “A-” score is awarded to organisations that demonstrate climate action is embedded at strategic and operational levels.
Climate action anchored in strategy and execution
Hager’s “A-” rating reflects a comprehensive climate transition approach, embedded in business strategy and decision-making. Key elements include an independently verified carbon footprint, a clear decarbonisation roadmap, and the integration of climate-related risks and opportunities into the Group’s risk management framework.
Targeted investments in low-carbon solutions and energy-efficient technologies further support progress — both within Hager’s own operations and through solutions that enable customers to reduce their environmental impact.
“As an energy management specialist, we believe credibility starts with our own footprint,” says Etienne Dock, Energy Management Senior Vice President. “By applying our energy management solutions across our sites, we continuously reduce emissions while strengthening our expertise, both for us and our partners.”
Transparency, governance and measurable progress
CDP’s scoring framework is designed to encourage organisations to integrate climate considerations deeply into governance and operations. Hager’s disclosure follows internationally recognised standards and supports informed decision-making for customers, partners and investors.
“Moving from ambition to impact means enabling the energy transition at scale,” says Matthieu Alexandropoulos, Corporate Social Responsibility Senior Director. “Our CDP ‘A-‘ rating confirms that our climate action, governance and innovation provide a solid foundation to act as a reliable and responsible business partner.”
By achieving a CDP “A-” score, Hager joins a limited group of organisations recognised as climate leaders. The result reinforces the Group’s commitment to disciplined climate action and continuous improvement in reducing environmental impact.
