First French-German Climate Action Day

05. March 2025

📅 Save the date: June 5, 2025 – Act for the climate together!

On June 5, 2025, Hager Group will host the first French-German Climate Action Day at the Hager Forum in Obernai, in partnership with the Klimaschutz-Unternehmen network. This event will bring together over 300 experts and decision-makers from the fields of CSR, business, politics, and science in France and Germany. The goal: to demonstrate that climate protection, innovation, and economic success go hand in hand. Through discussions and tangible solutions, the day will highlight European collaboration and circular approaches for a more sustainable future.

"As a Franco-German family-owned business, cooperation and sustainability are part of our DNA. Hosting this event is a natural step in our commitment to a more sustainable future and a carbon-neutral European economy by 2050. The electrification of buildings plays a key role in this transition, and this event will be a unique opportunity to exchange ideas and promote concrete climate solutions—solutions that can only emerge through contributions from both countries," says Matthieu Alexandropoulos, CSR Senior Director.

A Day of Innovation and Franco-German Cooperation

Under the theme "Circular Solutions for Climate and Environment," the event will feature inspiring keynotes, expert forums, and interactive workshops addressing strategic topics such as:
Circular economy – rethinking production and consumption models
CSRD Directive – understanding new sustainability reporting requirements
Artificial intelligence for sustainable transformation – leveraging AI for positive impact

The event will be officially opened by Sabine Busse, CEO of Hager Group, alongside Jörg Schmidt, President of Klimaschutz-Unternehmen.
