The Hager Group brand E3/DC has been awarded the German Innovation Award 2025 in Gold for its bidirectional charging solution EDISON V2H.

With its innovative DC charging solution EDISON V2H, E3/DC – a Hager Group brand – has received the German Innovation Award 2025 in Gold. The system not only enables electric vehicles to be charged with solar power but also allows their batteries to serve as an energy source for the home, creating a smart link between e-mobility and solar self-consumption.

EDISON V2H is the first certified and serially produced DC solution for bidirectional charging in Europe – developed in collaboration with Volkswagen and Ford. The jury emphasized the holistic concept: integrating vehicle, building, PV system, and battery storage to form a future-ready system that boosts energy independence.
