Electric trucks are the next phase in the development of our sustainable industrial mobility: we are very proud to have inaugurated our very first 100% electric truck in Obernai on 16th January.

During the inauguration ceremony, we discovered the truck’s exceptional capabilities. It is powered by 468 kWh batteries - the equivalent to a year’s worth of aircon unit use - and has a range of over 320 km. Rechargeable from a 40 kWh mobile charging station, with a particularly low average consumption of 1.44 kWh/km, this electric truck is THE inter-factory shuttle in Obernai.

This innovative project is further proof of our commitment to sustainable development and paves the way for cleaner, more environmentally friendly industrial mobility. The use of electric vehicles such as trucks will enable our company to significantly reduce its CO2 emissions, thus saving an estimated 10 tons a year. Transitioning to a larger electric vehicle fleet is fully in line with our E3 sustainability strategy to limit our impact of the climate. The introduction of these trucks reinforces our commitment to a more sustainable future for the next generations.
