HappyIndex Trainees: happy interns, a future-proof company
Top 25 Best French Companies for internships or apprenticeships
"92.5% of respondents recommend Hager Group for internships or apprenticeships."
For the third consecutive year, Hager Group is featured in the rankings and holds the 24th position in the
French HappyIndex Trainees in the category of 100-199 interns and apprentices. For this index, students
evaluate the company that hosts them.
"Every year, Hager Group welcomes around 300 new interns and apprentices, including 150 in France across all
our business sectors," says Céline Friedrich, Talent Development Manager at Hager Group. "The world of work
is evolving, and the expectations of the new generations towards the company have changed. Therefore,
student feedback is crucial for us to improve and continue offering an experience with high added value for
their personal and professional development. This recognition shows that we are on the right track," concludes
Céline Friedrich.
This reputation survey, HappyIndex Trainees, conducted by choosemycompany.com, aims to shed light on the
reality of the experiences of interns and apprentices. Six criteria are taken into account: professional
progression, work environment, management, motivation, pride, fun, and pleasure. "This survey allows us to
gather valuable and numerous authentic feedback on the experience of the Generation Z (Gen Z) as they enter
the workforce. Several development areas have been identified, and some actions have already been
implemented: enhancement of the internship compensation grid, customization of internship job descriptions
with a 'Gen Z' focus, reinforced awareness among tutors regarding their expectations... And this is just the
beginning to ensure our attractiveness to the talents of tomorrow," testify Fiona Petit and Mathilde Paillart,
Recruitment Specialists – interns & apprentices.
The possible beginning of a beautiful story.
The adventure sometimes continues beyond the framework of the internship or apprenticeship. A recent
graduate of an engineering school, Thibaut, chose to continue his journey and start his first job with us in the
Engineering department after completing his apprenticeship in our Digital & Information team: "As an intern, I
was very well supported and could learn a lot through my real tasks, my mentor, and the teams passionate
about their missions." He confides: "I wanted to stay at Hager Group because the work environment is both
stimulating and caring, with managers who are attentive. I could change departments and tasks without
difficulty. I was trusted right away in a job very different from my apprenticeship." Many similar success stories
have been built over the years.
Thanks to the 93 interns & apprentices who participated in this wonderful recognition, to all our HR teams, to
our tutors and managers for their daily commitment.
