New director of communications and public relations at Hager Group

 

Hager Group appoints Michael Schattenmann, an accomplished communications & PR specialist for the B2B sector, as new Group Communications & PR Director. He took up his new position on 1st May, 2020 and will report to Franck Houdebert, Chief Human Resources Officer and a member of the Management Board at Hager Group. Michael Schattenmann succeeds Harald Börsch, who has left the company at his own request.

Hager Group appoints Michael Schattenmann, an accomplished communications & PR specialist for the B2B sector, as new Group Communications & PR Director. He took up his new position on 1st May, 2020 and will report to Franck Houdebert, Chief Human Resources Officer and a member of the Management Board at Hager Group. Michael Schattenmann succeeds Harald Börsch, who has left the company at his own request.

In his new position, Michael Schattenmann is responsible for internal communications, the group-wide media relations, in addition to public relations and sponsoring. He’ll be responsible for the corporate identity and brand architectures, contributing to the corporate branding of the Group. His scope of accountability also includes the lead of the Hager Forum, the company's collaborative platform where customers, employees and visitors engage in dialogue, learning and innovation, shaping their future together with Hager Group.

Michael Schattenmann was formerly Global Head of Storytelling & Marketing at the family-owned technology group Heraeus. Before this, he held various positions in public affairs and communications at Airbus in Berlin, Toulouse and Munich.
