We are pleased to announce that Hager Group will be participating in the European Company Sport Games 2023 (ECSG). This major European tournament for company sportsmen and women will take place from 14 to 18 June in Bordeaux with no less than 5,000 participants representing various companies.

The event represents values that reflect ours, such as sharing, performance and collaboration: reaching a common goal by collective effort, beyond borders, continuously striving forward together.

It started last December when we launched a call to all European employees to form a Hager Group sports team. This year, more than 50 employees responded. From different departments, from ten locations in six countries - Germany, France, Greece, Italy, Poland and Portugal - they will proudly represent our company and compete for precious medals.

Ready to compete

Our team is already in the starting blocks: the kick-off for the 2023 season was launched by a virtual meeting. Most participants did not know each other before, but some had already met at the 2022 games: "Last year, I came to the ECSG with colleagues and I left with a new family," recalls one of the participants of 2022.

Between now and June, our sports team will meet regularly to train from a distance, and virtual sessions will also be organised to get to know each other better and (re)create links before the big day.
