Rallye des Gazelles 2021: Hager, official sponsor of the 512 crew
At Hager Group, we have defined concrete actions, allowing us to grow collectively and as individuals. It’s in this very spirit, that Hager France proudly sponsors Team 512 at the 30th edition of the Rallye Aïcha des Gazelles du Maroc.

The Rallye
The adventure will take place from September 17th to October 2nd, 2021.
The Rallye Aïcha des Gazelles du Maroc is the only 100% female off-road event in the world certified to the ISO 14001:2015 standard. Since 1990, it brings together women of all nationalities aged 18 to 71; from the very beginning, the Rallye has developed a unique vision of motor racing: speed is not the focus, GPS is not allowed. All teams rely on old-fashioned navigation using maps and a compass, based on the idea of “a return to basics.” The participants, refered to as " Gazelles", must reach and check off several markers in the right order, finding the shortest possible route.

100% Electric
Our Team 512 starts in the category “E-Gazelle”. This 100% electric category was created in 2017. That year, only one electric vehicle was at the starting line. In 2021, 15 crews will be driving all-electric vehicles. Team 512 will set off in a Bolloré Bluesummer, in full Hager livery. The perfect colors for Aïcha and Kitty, who can’t wait to proudly wear our colors during this unique adventure.
An electric adventure for all of us
Since diversity, empowerment and an unquenchable thirst for innovation are at the core of our work, it didn’t take long to take the decision to support Aïcha and Kitty.
For more than 60 years, Hager Group has been developing innovative solutions to improve the comfort and safety of electrical installations at work and at home. The team's choice to go in a 100% electric car was an obvious one and close to our hearts. Hager Group sees electricity as a solution for the challenges of our time. Among these challenges, electric mobility is one of the major puzzle pieces, and we are at the forefront of developing leading solutions.

100% female, 100% Hager
Team 512, that’s Aïcha and Kitty. They are Hager Group employees and part of the Hager sales team in France. Both are from the North of France. Aïcha Sostaric is Customer and Distribution Manager and Kitty Duquesne is Project Sales Manager.
We asked both about their motivation to embark on this unique event.
Kitty: "In life, you have to seize opportunities to make your dreams come true. Above all, you have to believe in yourself, in your abilities and trust others. The Rallye is an opportunity for Hager to make itself visible in the strategic market for electric vehicles, which will be a growth market for years to come, for charging stations and other products, and to establish a position as an innovator and developer in our industry.”
Aïcha: "Taking part in this rally is a childhood dream come true and it runs in the family through my father. This Rallye has human and environmental values that Hager and I carry on a daily basis. It seemed obvious to me to involve Hager in this superb project to promote our brand externally as well as our charging stations.”
All of us at Hager Group will be cheering for them, and we’re very proud of them already. We share their passion, and admire their courage to go outside their comfort zone. Their experiences and their learnings will be invaluable for Hager in general and for the two ladies in particular.
