Hager Group: At the Heart of the Archimède Residence Rehabilitation
A Major Undertaking
The Archimède Residence, located in Saint-Cyr-l’École, represents an ambitious real estate rehabilitation project. By converting former offices into accommodations designed for short- and medium-term stays, this initiative showcases a complete change of purpose while addressing significant technical challenges.
With 280 rooms requiring electrical equipment, the project posed unique constraints. The need to preserve the aesthetic quality of the infrastructure, combined with the complexity of the technical installations, demanded innovative solutions focused on electrical centralization and space optimization.
Strong Collaboration for Tailored Solutions
To meet the challenges of this project, including limited ceiling height, Hager Group developed customized solutions in partnership with panel builder ASM and installer SNIE. Space optimization resulted in a specific configuration of the quadro evo main low-voltage switchboard, delivering a compact, efficient solution that ensures optimal energy performance.Alexandre Mendes, Head of Commercial Agency at SNIE, highlighted:"Hager provided their expertise for the technical studies and schematics, product selection, and even support for assembling the switchboards."
Innovation at the Core of the Project
One of the most notable elements of this project was the integration of an HW+ open circuit breaker calibrated at 2,000 amperes. This breaker offers tailored power management for the building's needs and enhances the overall reliability of the installation by accommodating 16 cables from the infrastructure.
