Beijing's most important hub of business and finance, the Beijing World Financial Centre is a state-of-the-art project located in the commercial district of Chao Yang. Two 22-storey towers connected by a glass atrium form the heart of the property, which covers 242,000 square metres. The concept was created by César Pelli, the architect behind iconic buildings including the Petronas Towers (Kuala Lumpur), the World Financial Centre (New York) and the Vanke Emerald Riverside (Shanghai).
