Enabling green transformation at scale

As one of the world’s leading names in cement and building materials—and a Fortune Global 500 company—Conch Group is rapidly expanding into China’s fast-growing waste-to-energy sector. Its new plants in Lincang, Yunnan and Nandan, Guangxi will together generate more than 124 million kWh of renewable electricity annually.

This scale places strict requirements on the reliability, durability and long-term performance of the electrical infrastructure, entrusted to Hager. Operating year-round in high humidity, corrosive atmospheres and heavy dust, the plants needed a low-voltage system capable of withstanding challenging industrial conditions without compromising safety or efficiency.

To meet these demands, Hager China worked closely with Conch Group and all project partners to design a smart, high-performance LV distribution solution tailored to the exact needs of both facilities.

Delivering stable, efficient and sustainable energy performance

Hager’s customised package features air circuit breakers (ACB), moulded case circuit breakers (MCCB), modular protection devices (MPD), EW devices and Thermal Relays, selected for their durability, modular design and proven reliability in challenging industrial environments

Key performance advantages include:
Modular intelligence: Integrated protection and user-friendly interfaces ensure smooth operation and effective monitoring across the system.
Engineered for endurance: MCCBs with enlarged silver-alloy contacts and reinforced terminals minimise contact resistance and extend service life.
Easy installation and serviceability: MPDs with a side-mounted snap-fit design simplify assembly and replacement, helping reduce downtime.
Together, these technologies create a robust LV system that enhances critical plant functions, from stable power distribution and safe operation of electrical loads to reduced maintenance cycles and future scalability as the facilities grow.
