With its round trim and classic rotary knob, the Berker Series 1930 system is as much at home in older renovated buildings as it is in modern architecture. This is exactly the case with the Long Story Short Hostel in Olomouc, Czech Republic, a contemporary hostel born out of the sympathetic conversion of a historic building. The establishment takes its unusual name from its elongated U-shape and its current use as a hostel that welcomes guests for short stays.
