Bidirectional charging

This means the car battery acts as additional storage for the renewable energy you generated and can feed it back into your home system when you need it. Plus, your car basically operates as part of a flexible storage system, helping to level out peaks in the communal grid.

Testing with Audi
Last year, we tested this intelligent charging system in a study together with Audi. It was a great success. Demand for this kind of solution, which relies on extremely sophisticated intelligent networks communicating with each other, is expected to go through the roof. Especially in Germany, where, after a sluggish start, last year over 400.000 electric vehicles were sold and where consumers are facing high energy prices.
