HappyIndex® Trainees: Hager, #1 in France for interns and apprentices!
21. November 2025
Recognizing meaningful assignments, real support, and a strong community
For the first time, Hager has been nationally recognized as a top employer for interns and apprentices, reaching 1st place in the HappyIndex® Trainees ranking for French companies hosting 100 to 199 interns and apprentices per year. This award also marks our 5th consecutive year in the ranking, confirming our long-term commitment to young talent.
This survey by choosemycompany.com is based entirely on authentic feedback from young talents, reflecting their real experience - from professional development, work environment, management, motivation, pride, and enjoyment.
This achievement speaks for itself: 95% of our interns and apprentices in France recommend Hager, with a remarkable 95.2% participation rate.
The highest scores, such as professional development and mentoring, reflect the core pillars of our Early Careers approach.
1. Real and meaningful assignments
Interns and apprentices contribute to real, impactful projects, gaining both technical and soft skills. “I recommend Hager to anyone who wants to learn, take on challenges, and grow in a company that truly values innovation and teamwork. Here, you are trusted and given the means to make a real impact.” Lisa Thalgott, former apprentice in Obernai, now on a V.I.E in Singapore
2. Personalized onboarding and mentoring
From their first day, young talents join their team fully and receive structured support from experienced mentors. Workshops and events help them prepare for their future careers. “Every year, we welcome nearly 350 interns and apprentices worldwide. For each of them, a dedicated team - HR, managers, operational teams, and Early Careers - works to create a rich, structured experience focused on their growth and success.” Céline Friedrich, Talent Acquisition Manager Early Careers & Programs
3. A dynamic and supportive community
Joining Hager means becoming part of the TAI Community, an active network run by the students themselves that encourages collaboration, peer exchange, and lasting connections. “My experience at Hager allowed me to develop new technical skills while benefiting from a dynamic environment fostering collaboration and student life through the TAI Community. I recommend Hager for its enriching assignments and its modern, healthy, and growth-oriented work environment.” Thibaut Unsinger, Digital & Information apprentice in Obernai
Investing in young talent today to build tomorrow’s success
We are proud of our initiatives and continue to improve. Young talents have highlighted areas for progress, such as simplifying administrative steps and enhancing cross-team communication, to make their journey even smoother and more engaging. These priorities are now integrated into our 2026 Early Careers action plans.
