"One Rainbow, One Smile" Hager Group promotes intergenerational solidarity
Positive vibes for retirement homes
Since the beginning of the COVID-19 epidemic many children and their grandparents have been separated. That is why, from April 8 to 16, we invited our colleagues to participate in the global rainbow wave #chasetherainbow. We asked them to send us pictures of their children's drawings and starting from today, we will be distributing them widely to retirement homes.
An international and overflowing creativity
Our employee's children, nieces, and nephews, have used their imagination to create rainbows. We have received more than 150 creations, from France, Italy, Germany, Malaysia, Poland, Great Britain, India, China and the Netherlands. Each creation more original than the next, and all with one common theme: using bright colours. Creativity was expressed in all its forms: from drawings to collages, to paintings, creations on textile (T-shirts) and candy-based sculptures. We want to thank the artists and the adults who encouraged them!
Strengthening our ties with the local community
Throughout the project "One rainbow, one smile", Hager Group wishes to bring hope to elderly people in retirement homes who cannot receive visits, to express solidarity between generations and to strengthen the local community. These notions are at the heart of our values, as a family business and carried by our employees throughout the world.
