Münster driving school, Fahrschule Pöppelmann, trains new drivers with electric vehicles and was looking to install a home power station from the Infinity series to cover the high electricity requirements for charging them as well as to power a driving simulator and private living rooms. Besides the economic advantages, the company was also won over by the environmental credentials as well as the way it would improve its image as an innovative driving school. During the day, the two electric vehicles are charged by the powerful 30 kWp PV system on site. The rest is stored by the home power station for the building to use in the evening. It makes perfect sense economically because the use of electric cars reduces future fuel costs for the driving school to almost nothing.
