A new Hager Group plant in Bieruń (Poland)
Hager Group, a leading manufacturer of electrical products for industry and real estate, has started the construction of a new production plant in Bieruń in Silesia (Poland). The approx. EUR 50m investment supports the continued growth of Hager Group. The new factory will produce circuit breakers, an electrical safety device. The new plant will welcome almost 1000 employees.
To satisfy demand and support business growth, Hager Group is building a modern factory in Bieruń, Poland. It will allow the company to increase its production capacity and to further develop its product portfolio. The total area of the new production plant exceeds more than 21 000 square meters – 16 000 of which will be dedicated to storage and production purposes.
“The construction project in Bieruń is an important undertaking not only for our operations in Poland, but for the entire Group. The new factory is a clear signal of our commitment to the region” said Daniel Hager, Hager Group CEO.
The facility which is being constructed along BTO (Built to Own) principles and is expected to be operational by mid 2023. It will be one of our most modern buildings – it will meet the BREEAM certification guidelines at the Excellent level. Green energy will be used in the production process in the new factory - and photovoltaic panels will be installed in the building.
The new production plant will be placed just 10 kilometers from our Tychy site.
