E3/DC by HagerEnergy: German brand of the century

We are delighted to announce the renewed success of our E3/DC brand in being named a German brand of the century for the third time.

E3/DC have been named once again by the “German Standards – Brands of the Century” publication. Brands of the Century aims at discovering and giving recognition to those brands which set new and iconic standards, or which have even become (or have the potential to become) synonymous with their product. Think “Tempo” for paper hankies or “Uhu” for glue.

The jury was particularly impressed by E3/DC setting a standard in a new, initially barely defined market. From day one, the team around the home power station were determined to enable carbon-free energy generation and use for private and office buildings. The home power station they eventually launched is an all-in-one energy storage system boasting unique technology, satisfies the highest quality standards and is meeting the demands of its customers. It allows users to break free from fossil energy sources and to generate their own electricity round the clock.

All in one
Thanks to the integrated generation, modular storage and efficient energy management system, the E3/DE homer power station is compact and flexible and is more cost-effective than all directly comparable products of the same quality. The classic model, the S10, is connected to the grid and to the home network simultaneously. With solar panels, up to 85% self-sufficiency can be achieved, with 100% also possible depending on various other factors.

In 2020, E3/DC took a significant step forward by introducing the S10 PRO, which boasts a significantly higher power output and can therefore be used in a wider range of situations, both in private and commercial applications. There is now also the new Quattroporte system, a modular AC storage system which is suitable for new plants as well as for retrofitting in existing ones.

For Hager Group, this is an important recognition of the cutting-edge technology and performance of our Hager Energy subsidiary. With the new German government aiming to make solar roofs compulsory, technologies such as ours will be in steadily rising demand. Congratulations to the E3/DC team around Hager Energy CEO Dr. Andreas Piepenbrink. It is exactly with this kind of visionary technology that we’re taking on the challenge of shaping tomorrow’s electrical world.
