Hager Group 2018 Operational Excellence Awards


Hager Group 2018 Operational Excellence Awards took place on Wednesday 20th March at Hager Forum. Ending the ceremony, Daniel Hager thanked all the participants saying how proud he was of their achievements.


And the Awarded projects this year were:


For Breakthrough projects: Rocker Cell - Full automated assembly line


From the Ottfingen site in Germany, the objective of the Rocker Cell - Full automated assembly line project was to switch from manual process to a full automated assembly line.

For Continuous Improvement dynamics: Spotlight on Ergonomics


From the Tychy site in Poland, the objective of Spotlight on Ergonomics was to significantly improve productivity and capacity through improvement of ergonomics.

For ECO initiatives: Use of recycled plastics.


From the La Roca site in Spain, the objective of Use of recycled plastics project was to reduce our environmental impact by reducing CO2 emissions and waste; there were also reductions in costs.

A Special Award, new this year, chosen by the HPS Leaders went to a CI dynamics project: QRM Process – Industry 4.0


From the Saverne site in France, the objective of QRM process – industry 4.0 project first implemented in 2017 was to improve reactivity to the customer; in 2018 the objective was to improve flexibility and performance on this QRM cell.
