Increasing production capacity
at the Hager Group Porcia plant
in Italy 

Capacity increase of 9,000 m²

On December 5th 2022, after obtaining the building permit, Hager Group was officially able to open the construction site and launch construction work.

Teams set the challenging target to complete all construction activities by end 2023. From January on the foundations of the new industrial building were laid and the building itself started in March. This capacity expansion will enable the group to ramp up enclosure production for electrical equipment.

Keeping production up and running whilst extending.

An office block of over 4,800m² is planned for a June delivery, during this construction period certain departments will be relocated. The remaining 4,200m² will be constructed from July on, ready for inauguration and usage from January 2024.

Sustainably built and safe

The new industrial building and office block conform to new building standards; the best insulation materials and technology for smart buildings are being used. A photovoltaic roof-installation of 500 kW is planned and appropriate measures for fire prevention will be integrated.
