Hager Group inaugurates a new electrical conduit factory in Göteborg, in Sweden, strengthening the Group’s leading position in Europe in alignment with its sustainable growth ambitions.

Following the acquisition of the Italian electrical conduit specialist in 2023, Hager Group is now investing in this new subsidiary to capitalize on growth opportunities in the Northern European market. With this investment, Hager Group strengthens its position as a leading supplier of electrical conduits while combining our expansion ambitions with its sustainable growth strategy.Attempted by over 150 customers and employees, the official inauguration, of this new production site and logistics center in Sweden, less than two years after acquiring the Pmflex brand, allows the Franco-German family company to adapt furthermore to customer demand. The aim is simple: increasing flexibility, optimizing delivery times and continuously meeting our customers’ expectations.

Investment in Excellence

Located on a strategic site in the north of Göteborg, the factory covers an area of 19,000 m². This new investment includes production facilities, warehousing and loading areas, as well as offices for centralized operations of the Swedish site. In total, 40 jobs have been created to support the subsidiary's growth in this strategic market.

Aiming for a sustainable production

The site is ISO14000 certified - meeting a set of standards that define environmental management criteria. It is also equipped with solar panels on the roof and charging stations in the parking lot, as part of our sustainability strategy. Strategic optimization of logistical routes between the production site and client locations has also been planned to further reduce CO2 emissions in line with our E3 commitments. A full-circle approach thanks to modern facilities enabling us to meet the increasing demand for sustainable products.
