Brewery Cvikov

Beer has been brewing in Cvikov since 1560. The development of brewing buildings has grown in the second half of the nineteenth century and until the first period of the Republic, the production of beer has extended. In 1948, the brewery was nationalized and closed in January 1968. He has been dying for almost half a century since then.

The new story of the Cvikov Brewery began in 2013 when the devastated area was purchased by the new owner and patron Jiří Jakoubek with the aim of restoring the violently aborted tradition of beer production here. The project of revitalization of the brewery and the adjoining buildings was prepared by architect Adikon.

The original atmosphere of the brewery's production area accentuates the Berker Serie 1930 Porzellan Made by Rosenthal Porcelain Switches, and the classic  Q.1 switches with their unobtrusive beauty and velvety finish.
