3,000 masks "made by Hager"!

Since the beginning of the pandemic, the group and all our employees have remained united in the fight against COVID-19.

At Hager Forum in Obernai (France), a temporary sewing workshop has been set up over the last two months with help from our talented employees.

A total of 3,000 masks made from a washable fabric were crafted by a dozen of our colleagues!

"In Alsace, we have been particularly affected by the health crisis. Very quickly a wave of solidarity was born with a common goal: how can we contribute and help our everyday heroes? The mask workshop then became a collaborative project where many colleagues could volunteer. We are very proud of their commitment! "says Florence Moro, Factory support Senior Manager, in charge of the project.

These masks were donated to many organisations operating in the social and health sectors in Alsace: Caritas, the EHPADs in Wissembourg, Lauterbourg, the Foyer St Charles in Schiltigheim, the Children's Home in Climbach, the Petits Frères des Pauvres in Strasbourg, or the Jamalv association, etc.

We have chosen to work closely with a regional company based in the Vosges, Tissage Mouline, which supplied the fabric. It’s our choice to support the local economy and be eco-responsible by reducing our carbon footprint.

Congratulations to our colleagues for their mobilisation!
