Hager Group receives Ecovadis Gold Rating

Hager Group improves its EcoVadis rating and receives Gold for the first time.

Last year the rating was Silver. This result places the group in the top 1% of companies rated by EcoVadis in the manufacturing of electric motors, generators, transformers and electricity distribution and control app industry. It also places the company in the top 5% of all rated companies. Since the last assessment, the overall score has increased, thanks to significant improvements:

• Solid Sustainability Management Systems integrating Sustainability at the heart of business decisions
• Transparency through the publication of Hager Group's first sustainability report [weblink to report].
• Implementation of additional measures (environment and sustainable procurement)

With the rating, Hager Group creates transparency for its customers and partners for its sustainability performance and puts performance in a market context. At the same time, the rating is an important indicator of the effectiveness of action programmes to improve sustainability performance. It helps to define the action points along its sustainability strategy for the coming years. Sustainability is a journey in which Hager Group involves customers and partners to follow together over the next years with a clearly defined roadmap.
