In 1955, the two founding brothers Hermann Hager and Dr. Oswald Hager along with their father, created a company culture with strong values that still hold true today. These values guide us in our daily work and our collaboration with customers, partners and colleagues. Our founders’ courageous entrepreneurial spirit, authenticity and integrity continue to shape our future and make us who we are. Our values are the common ground of confidence on which we continue to build Hager Group, at the heart of all our operations and the basis of our success.

Knowing where we come from and who we are, being aware of our identity, allows us to stay strong and trustworthy. We do not change with the times. We go our way and stay true to ourselves and by doing this remain a reliable partner for our employees, partners and customers.

The value of action

Courage goes hand in hand with our entrepreneurial spirit as innovators and even pioneers. When the founding brothers started their business in 1955, they knew: On a competitive market like the electrical manufacturing industry, they had to be better than the others. They had to believe in themselves to succeed. We want to lead tomorrow’s electrical world. And to achieve that, we continuously have to find new business models and develop new solutions. Courage is what brought us to where we are today and to where we will be in the future.

Integrity means that we remain completely faithful to our values in our actions. We do what we say and we say what we do. This refers to our products, which are not only compliant, but also durable and contributing to a low-carbon, energy-conscious lifestyle. But it also refers to the way of how we interact with each other and with our partners and customers. We pursue what is needed to achieve our mission and stand up for it.
